Brisbane to Byron Bay

It has been a long time since I've been able to update this blog. We've just left a suburb of Brisbane where we stayed with Stephanie's good friends Belinda and Dave...a really fun couple. They were so nice and incredibly generous. We played a lot of games and had a good time leaving the "backpacker's" lifestyle behind a little bit.

Since then we went to stay a a Christian Surfer's base for a couple of nights and learned a lot about their ministry. It seems they were in a bit of a transition stage, and were so nice to let us stay in their "dorm" room.

Now we're in Byron Bay...a little town of 7000 people who get in 800 backpackers per day! The beaches are beautiful and it definitely has a hippie feel. This morning we went to an Anglican church in the cutest little country church. The congregation had about 7 people and they seemed really close. They said Byron is a tough place with Chrsitianity because so many people are seeking spirituality through so many other religions etc. Please pray for the people here!

Time is running out on our free internet card :)..so I must go. I miss you all and am praying for you!

We saw some dolphins Ami!!! It was incredible a pod of about 20 when we were up on a lookout by the lighthouse. Did you ever do the walk up to the light house? The view is incredible!

Of course~! I had to walk there because the lighthouse was a main background of a Korean commercial long time ago. I heard that when it's a dolphin season, numerous photographers are sleeping there outside to take pictures. :)
