It's 7:15 am and I've been up for an hour already...it seems as if jet lag is going to keep me up for the day :). It's kind of nice to have a peaceful morning and be fully awake for it! As I was sitting here reading, the sounds outside reminded me that I am no longer in Canada. I don't know if it was a bunch of birds, or what...but defintely more tropical sounds than I've ever heard.
The trip here was amazing, I don't think it could have gone any better. No problems with flights or anything, Thank you Lord! It is so good to spend time with Stephi and April again. We had kind of a lazy day yesterday and will be out on the town more the rest of this week. I can't wait!!

Ozzie Bound!
I write this just 2 days away from one of the greatest adventures of the 23 years I've been alive...on Monday I'll be leaving for Australia to join my wonderful friends Stephi and April! The next 5 months are going to be filled with lots of laughter, great talks, sunshine, adventures and so much more that I can't even imagine. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to enjoy another part of the world with such great girls!
This will be turned into my travel blog. As I don't know how often I'll be able to update this...but keep checking, you never know when a new picture or story may pop up :).

Back at School
So I'm just about to finish my 2nd week at school and it feels like I've been here at least a month! I feel like I should be way more into the swing of things and settled into routine, but then I remember we haven't even been here 2 weeks. It's so crazy.
There have been some really amazing times here. Last weekend I went to Ohio with a few friends for Ashley and Drew's wedding... and it was INCREDIBLE. The entire weekend was a blast! (I'll post pictures soon).
Tonight was the first night of Allied Force (Youth Group)..and it was so good to see the high school students again...they really are a great group.
Tomorrow I am leaving with a bunch of other Moodies for the Youth Leader's Retreat and I'm really excited about it....but I'm also kind of nervous because that means there's a lot less time to do homework...and I'm already a little overwhelmed.
It's time for sleep.. so I'm going to hit the hay... but if you're reading this, if you think to pray that somehow life will slow down a bit, that would be greatly appreciated. I'd rather not spend this semester tired all the time.

hell's gate...girl's day out
A couple of weeks ago Heather and I took a day to go on a mini road trip...to a tourist trap known as hell's gate. The river was incredible, but it was just fun to have time to hang out with Heather!
